We’re gearing up for the 2nd annual Coats for Kids Drive. We will be discussing the Drive in more detail at the 6/21 General Meeting. Below is a list of roles and responsibilities within this year’s committee. If you are interested to fill any of these lead positions, you will have the opportunity to sign up at the next meeting. We’ll see you there!

Coats for Kids Jobs
1. Signage Coordinator. Finalize poster design and print signs and posters.
2. Coat Distribution Coordinator. Contact Distribution Organizations and get an estimate of how many coats they can take. When we get closer to the event, find out what times will work for delivery.
3. Box Distribution Coordinator. Take lead on collection locations and at events, i.e. WOW Week.
4. PR Coordinator. Write press releases during and after event. Contact all local media outlets for advertising and sponsorships.
7. Every member will be responsible to find 5 businesses to be a coat collection location.
8. Coordinator to find a place to store and sort the coats during the collection week.
9. Drop-box team. People with large vehicles to deliver and pick-up boxes.
10. Dry Cleaning crew. Transport coats from sorting location to Paul’s Dry Cleaner.
11. Coat delivery crew. Deliver coats to distribution organizations.

Our Girls Scout Troop would like to participate with your Coats 4 Kids Drive again this year.
This year we would like to get a donation box for our meeting place.
We have already started collecting coats.
