About Our Club
The Rotaract Club of San Luis Obispo is a community based service club for Central Coast 18-30 year old young professionals. The club encourages membership from San Luis Obispo and its surrounding communities ranging from Cambria and down to Grover Beach. The Rotaract Club of San Luis Obispo is a part of Rotary International and is one of just 7,000 Rotaract clubs in over 160 countries. All of the clubs are started at the local, grassroots level by active young professionals and students in order to better serve their communities. Local Rotary groups sponsor the club and because of this relationship Rotaractors become true “partners in service.”
If you are a young professional in the San Luis Obispo area and you have ever thought about giving back to the community come check out a Rotaract Club meeting. Our meetings are held just twice a month at Tartaglia Realty in San Luis Obispo on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm. Please be sure to e-mail in advance that you will be joining us so we can know that you are planning on dropping in! You can also keep up with us through our meeting minutes and our scheduled events on our calendar.
Common Rotaract activities range based on the demographic of the club but some of the most recent activities include several trail clean-ups, fundraising with local non-profits including Big Brothers Big Sisters and San Luis Obispo Downtown Association, Rotarian sponsored events and our Member Socials. Last quarter’s Membership Social was a giant slip and slide and BBQ. Here is a list of our current and past activities.
Our mission is to improve the community and have fun doing it along side other positive people. Come join us!

Hello! I’m writing on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Association, San Luis Obispo Regional Office. I am compiling a list of service clubs’ contact information, with the hope we may be able to come address one of your upcoming meetings.
I would appreciate receiving Rotaract’s contact information. Thank you for considering this request.

Hi!
When does the Coats for Kids drive start?
Hi Megan!
Thank you for your interest in our Coats for Kids drive. We will have our collection boxes up at various drop-off locations starting October 1st. We will publish the list of businesses housing these boxes soon. And if you’re interested in having a box at your business or know of a location who would like to participate, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you!
